CARE MINISTRIES

Our goal and calling as a church is to care and support all of our members. This is both the joy and responsibility of being called together by the Holy Spirit to form the body of this church. For this reason, we need to recognize the love and care that all members of the body ought to provide to one another.

Our care ministries watch over and provide extra support to those in seasons of greater need, and to work to ensure that the needs of certain members are not overlooked or ignored. This is done shepherding elders and deacons, the Visitation Team, and the pastoral staff.

If you would like to meet with someone for conversation and prayer, please call the church office at (616) 245-8726 to set up an appointment with one of our pastors.

Our Director of Visitation, Lori (lori@seymourchurch.org), regularly visits senior members who are limited in their ability to meet with us for worship, communion, or other activities. Please contact her with any questions.

Midweek Prayer Group

A group gathers on Midweek Ministry nights following the meal in Lori’s office to pray for the needs of our congregation. Contact Lori (lori@seymourchurch.org) for more information or to join.
