What do we do?
Currently we run a hygiene pantry for the Greater Grand Rapids area. We also provide emergency period packs to Alger Middle School, Ottawa Hills High School, Grand Rapids Christian High School, and South Christian High School.
Our pantry is open on the third Tuesday of each month from 4-6pm through the end of 2024. In 2025 our pantry will be open the SECOND Tuesday of each month from 4-6pm.

What’s the story behind Take Two?
“Take Two” is a play on words that is intended to express our governing values of generosity and dignity. A member at Seymour started Take Two as a personal passion project. As someone who grew up without regular access to necessary hygiene items, she felt called to help those in the community who also struggle with meeting this need.“ Take Two” is a play on words that is intended to express our governing values of generosity and dignity
Who’s responsible for Take Two?
Take Two is run by a Seymour Youth Council, which includes several high school students representing 4 different high schools in Grand Rapids.
What are some future goals?
We have recently received our official 501(c)3 status with the State of Michigan and are seeking additional partners in the community to support our work. We are open to any partnerships, but are currently in discussion with several individuals, groups, churches, and small businesses in the Greater Grand Rapids area about supporting our efforts in our community. If your organization would like to support, donate, or provide an area for Take Two, please contact us at (616) 245-8726 or taketwo@seymourchurch.org.
