WITNESS TRIP 2027

Join us for our very first Seymour Witness Trip to Málaga, Spain from January 23-31, 2027!

We will experience God at work in the world by engaging in the neighborhoods and communities in Málaga, where Resonate missionaries Gary and Rachel de Leon serve. We will then bring what we learn and experience home for mission in our own neighborhoods and community.

Preparation

  • The team will meet monthly beginning in March.
  • These monthly sessions will center around Resonate Global Mission’s Witness training materials, which help prepare us to both witness and be witnesses of God’s grace in the world.

Trip

  • January 23-31, 2027
  • Stay in a monastery guest house
  • Begin each day with devotions around the question of what does it mean to be a witness in this neighborhood and our neighborhood at home?
  • Visit the refugee resettlement ministry of Diez42, where Gary and Rachel serve. Help with food distribution, English classes, Vacation Bible School, and pray for the staff and volunteers.
  • Worship with a Spanish church
  • Expect around 1 mile of walking per day

Post-Trip

  • 3 Debriefing and coaching meetings with your group and a coach from Resonate.
  • Work together to help Seymour become a better Witness to our neighborhood, potentially helping to form small groups to help others go through the Witness curriculum.

Cost

  • $2000-$2500 / person (exact price will depend on flight costs)

  • Final payment needs to be made by October 1, 2026.
